My work:  Reconsidering found objects that cannot be recycled within the mainstream and giving them a new purpose through art, in my studio upstairs @ Lyndon Street Artworks in downtown Greensboro.
The everyday professional part of my life is Home Organizing Consultant and Coach as Owner of Ahhh…mazing Home Organization, Inc.

My best bargain find: A jar of vintage buttons for $2.

I am most proud of: My mother intrusting to me the responsibility of being her primary caretaker while she was terminally ill. It was and remains for me the most important honor of my life!

What keeps me awake at night: How to obtain “shoeboxes,” a bartering system I created. Begin with a shoe box, fill it up with found objects you no longer have any use for and bring it to me in trade for a unique one-of-a-kind piece of my art to wear--it’s as simple as that!

I am guilty of: Spending more money than I have earned.

If I could do it all over again: I would not waste one single moment defining myself by what others thought of me!

The food I could eat every day: Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia ice cream.

I wish I’d known: Not to take the people you love for granted.

The world would be a better place, if only: Society as a whole was genuinely more concerned about the overall destruction of our planet.

I’d like to learn to: Tig weld.

The worst idea I’ve ever had: To marry my now one and only ex-husband.

What are you most vain about? Probably more than I should be.

What do you fear the most? Not leaving a positive impact as my legacy, or worse, not having one.

Favorite color and why? The vibrant green of a plant--full of life, just happy and alive!

I feel strongest when: I can help or encourage others to feel motivated, get their space and life organized or simply inspire an individual to be creative, especially when they think they are not.

I wish…for every person and creature on this planet to have food, shelter and to feel loved.
