STATEMENT OF THE JOB:
We are seeking advertising sales representatives for Skirt!® Magazine in Augusta, GA and Columbia, SC. Requires local sales calls to generate advertising sales and revenue. Participation in industry events sponsored by the magazine.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree preferred; prior advertising sales experience preferred

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Sell and develop advertising in Skirt!® Magazine and Online.

• Heavy emphasis on new business development in an expanding market. Must be able to meet sales goals.

• Attend industry events and functions hosted by the magazine and local industry partners.

• Work with editor to ensure content and listings in our products reflect our market and advertisers.

skirt! magazine is expanding its sales force in Memphis and is seeking experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic independent sales contractors to join our team. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right individual who is looking for fun, excitement and a flexible schedule with uncapped commission and unlimited potential.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate should have 3 years or more outside sales experience, preferably in media sales (magazine, newspaper or broadcast), strong advertising relationships, be well connected in Memphis and hungry to excel. You’ll work independently but need to be willing to be part of our team.

The successful candidate should have 5 years of sales experience, preferably in media, is preferred. along with knowledge of the Memphis market, ability to work with various stakeholders, an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for the magazine and the women it reaches.

Sales Coordinator/Inside Sales

skirt! magazine, the exciting new magazine serving area women, seeks an experienced advertising sales representative to develop new and existing accounts. Qualified candidates should have a background in media sales, (magazine, newspaper or broadcast), strong advertising relationships, be well connected in the Greater Boston area and hungry to excel. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right individual who is looking for fun, excitement and success.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This person will play a key role in supporting the Skirt! magazine sales staff and management on this exciting new monthly women’s magazine in Greater Boston. In addition to some administrative tasks, this person will also handle inside sales for both inbound and outbound calls. Qualified candidates should possess strong Microsoft Office skills, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
